Have given to this charity in the past, the soaps and toiletries they make are made by blind or disabled employees who are then helped to find further onwards employment where possible. The guide dogs of the blind workers are also looked after on the premises while they work. Based in East London and Lake District.

www.hestia.org ...a London charity that support victims of domestic abuse, their kids and also victims of human trafficking and their kids... most of the latter being women trafficked and forced into prostitution. Some of the stuff they've been through doesn't bear thinking about.

Also I run the local youth club/kids football club which is also a charity. Support your local charities in your neighbourhoods people!

Donate my time and a bit of cash to K9 Friends which is a dog shelter.

Take the dogs for walks which suits me fine as I can’t stand people.

I was doorstepped by an National Society for Deaf Children Chugger around eight years ago. However it was during surprise drinks for my birthday. So with my friends watching (and judging) me I was compelled to sign up for a tenner a month. Happy enough to keep it going.

Charity should begin at home anyway

I donate money to my Mrs for putting up with me

And sometimes I give to the local hospice in East Sussex and the Air Ambulance

Re: Charities. Do you donate regular what's your preferred charity.
On the original message though, I do buy an old style poppy every year for a score, as I may not be rich, but £20 a year to pay for the sacrifice of 100 years worth of forces personnel is small fry and I'm in no doubt that many do even more for such a worthy cause.

I never see anyone else in my team wearing one and seeing as a couple of them are millionaire lawyers, I'd be disappointed if they weren't giving anything, though at the same time not surprised as a lot of people born with a silver spoon in their gobs just don't live in the real world.

Essex Air Ambulance and the RSPB monthly.

RSPB will just be for a year before changing to something else.

Give the odd random donation to Cancer, as I see that as the most important charity seeing as it affects the most people.

And always the text donation thing to whatever is on TV. Even the kids one and I hate kids!
